About Fired Up Fishing Charters
Fired Up Fishing Charters runs private offshore fishing trips out of Bluepoints Marina in Port Canaveral, the deep-water port that serves Cocoa Beach and the Space Coast. Founded by an owner whose resume spans firefighter, police officer and Navy veteran, the operation brings a safety-first, service-driven culture to big-water sportfishing.
The fleet is four identical 33-foot Stuart Angler boats powered by 440hp Yanmar turbo diesels, each fitted with shade, an onboard restroom and modern navigation and safety gear including EPIRBs. Charters run daily in half-day, three-quarter-day and full-day formats, along with dedicated shark fishing and deep drop trips, and each boat takes up to six passengers. Target species read like an Atlantic wish list: mahi-mahi, wahoo, cobia, tarpon, sailfish, amberjack, king mackerel and sharks.
Every captain holds a U.S. Coast Guard license and most grew up fishing these waters, which matters when finding fish quickly on a half-day window. Identical boats mean large groups can book multiple hulls and fish side by side, a rarity among Space Coast charters, and the family-friendly approach makes the offshore experience accessible to first-time anglers visiting Cocoa Beach.
