About Fish Key West
Fish Key West is the private charter operation of Captain Steven Lamp, one of the most experienced fishing guides in the Florida Keys with over 30 years on the water. Based at Sunset Marina on College Road, he runs a fleet ranging from nimble two-person flats skiffs to six-passenger centre consoles and offshore sportfishing yachts, covering every style of Keys angling.
Charters include flats fishing for bonefish, permit, and tarpon on the shallow backcountry flats; reef fishing for snapper, grouper, and hogfish on the barrier reef; and offshore trips into the Gulf Stream targeting sailfish, mahi-mahi, tuna, and wahoo. Four, six, and eight-hour trips run daily year-round, and Captain Lamp matches each trip to the angler's skill level and target species. All tackle, bait, and licences are provided.
