About Florida Dive Pros
Florida Dive Pros has been the Gulf Coast's go-to scuba shop since 1988, operating from their retail centre and training facility on Highway 98 in west Pensacola. As a PADI-certified dive centre, they run the full spectrum of courses from Open Water through Divemaster, along with specialty certifications in wreck diving, nitrox, and underwater photography.
Their charter boat runs regular trips to Pensacola's world-class wreck sites, including the USS Oriskany — the largest artificial reef in the world — plus the San Pablo, the Pete Tide II, and dozens of other sunken vessels scattered across the Gulf floor. Equipment sales, rentals, maintenance, and gas fills are all handled in-house, so divers can gear up and get underwater on the same visit. They also offer guided snorkelling trips for non-certified visitors who want a taste of the underwater scene.
What makes Dive Pros stand out after nearly four decades is the combination of a fully stocked retail shop, an on-site training pool for confined water sessions, and their own charter operation — everything under one roof. Their staff includes instructors with thousands of logged dives on local sites, which means course students get trained on the same reefs and wrecks they will dive independently.
