About FlyOver Iceland
FlyOver Iceland is an immersive flying ride attraction located in Reykjavik's vibrant Grandi Harbour District. Opened as part of the Pursuit collection of iconic attractions, it takes visitors on a breathtaking aerial journey across Iceland's most dramatic landscapes using a state-of-the-art motion platform and a 20-metre wraparound spherical screen with wind, mist, and scent effects.
The experience begins with pre-show galleries exploring Iceland's geological history and cultural heritage before guests board the flying ride. Suspended with feet dangling, riders soar over erupting volcanoes, glacial lagoons, thundering waterfalls, black sand beaches, and the Northern Lights — all filmed with specialised helicopter cameras. The entire visit takes approximately 30 minutes including the pre-show content.
FlyOver Iceland stands out as one of Reykjavik's top-rated indoor attractions, offering a unique perspective on Iceland's natural wonders regardless of weather or season.
