About Gold Coast Skydive
Gold Coast Skydive is the only dedicated skydiving centre on the Gold Coast, operating from Coolangatta near the Queensland–New South Wales border. As one of the few remaining family-owned businesses in the Australian skydiving industry, they've built a strong reputation for personalised service, a relaxed atmosphere, and an unwavering focus on safety.
Tandem skydivers jump from up to 12,000 feet, free-falling for approximately 45 seconds before the parachute deploys for a scenic five-minute canopy ride with panoramic views of the Gold Coast beaches, hinterland ranges, and Byron Bay lighthouse to the south. Every jump lands on the soft sand at Kirra Beach — one of Australia's most iconic surf breaks. Professional photos and video packages capture the entire experience from exit to landing.
Gold Coast Skydive stands out for their intimate operation — they cap daily jump numbers to ensure every customer gets personal attention rather than feeling like they're on a conveyor belt. The minimum age is 16 and the weight limit is 95 kilograms. Their office at 18 Coyne Street, Coolangatta, is the check-in point, with the whole experience taking around two hours from arrival to landing.
