About Holloway's Marina & RV Park
Holloway's Marina & RV Park is Big Bear Lake's oldest continuously operating marina, tracing its roots back to 1914 when nurseryman Charles Holloway hauled boat parts up the old Clark Grade road, assembled them lakeside, and was asked to rent one before it even hit the water. That entrepreneurial spark grew into a camp with cabins, rental boats, a general store, and a barbershop — and more than a century later, Holloway's remains a family-run cornerstone of the Big Bear waterfront at 398 Edgemoor Road.
Today the operation spans two marina facilities that together host the largest variety of watercraft available on Big Bear Lake. The fleet includes fishing pontoons, luxury and premium pontoon boats, one- to three-seat jet skis and WaveRunners, kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. For families with kids, the pirate ship excursion — a 90-minute narrated cruise around the lake — is a signature experience that draws repeat visitors year after year.
Beyond boat rentals, Holloway's offers a full-service RV park with lakefront sites, boat slips, and a tackle shop stocked for trout and bass anglers. The combination of over a century of history, a massive rental selection, and the only pirate ship cruise on the lake gives Holloway's a character that newer competitors simply can't replicate.
