About McLeod Tours
McLeod Tours is Margaret River's premier eco-adventure operator, specialising in guided kayak and stand-up paddleboard tours through the pristine waterways of the South West. Founded by local adventurer and nature guide Glen McLeod, the company offers intimate wildlife encounters on the Margaret River itself, where participants regularly spot dolphins, ospreys, and freshwater crayfish.
Their signature Margaret River kayak tour paddles upstream through towering karri and marri forest, passing Aboriginal heritage sites and secluded swimming holes that are inaccessible by road. SUP tours explore the calmer sections of the river and surrounding wetlands, with all equipment and expert tuition included for beginners. They also run seasonal whale-watching kayak excursions along the coastline.
Glen's 20+ years of guiding experience in the Margaret River region means every tour is packed with local knowledge about the area's ecology, Aboriginal history, and hidden gems. With a maximum of 8 participants per tour, the experience feels personal and unhurried — the perfect way to see the South West from the water.
