About McNabb Fishing Guide Service
McNabb Fishing Guide Service is a father-and-son fishing operation based in Page, Arizona, with Captain Mike and Captain Paul collectively bringing over 75 years of Lake Powell angling experience to the boat. Captain Mike has been fishing the lake for more than 43 years, and his son Paul grew up on the water and has logged over 33 years himself — making them one of the most experienced guide teams in the region.
They run half-day and full-day guided fishing trips year-round, targeting striped bass, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie, walleye, and catfish depending on the season. All tackle, rods, reels, bait, and fish-finding electronics are provided. They fish from a fully equipped guide boat and adapt their approach daily based on water temperature, lake levels, and forage patterns — critical variables on a desert reservoir where conditions shift fast.
McNabb's strength is affordability paired with deep local knowledge. Their rates are competitive with other Lake Powell guides, but the decades of pattern recognition that Mike and Paul bring to every trip are hard to match. They are equally comfortable putting a first-time angler on fish as they are helping experienced bass fishermen dial in a new technique for desert reservoir conditions.
