About Mountain Climbing School
Mountain Climbing School is a Zakopane-based climbing and mountaineering academy on ul. Tetmajera, running training courses for every level with programmes approved by the Polish Mountaineering Association (PZA). It is a go-to for visitors who want to progress beyond marked trails into rock climbing, via ferrata and technical alpine terrain in the Tatras and beyond.
The curriculum is extensive: weekend beginner and intermediate rock-climbing courses, multi-day climbing programmes of three to six days, Tatra mountaineering courses, and individual coaching tailored on request. Winter brings ski-touring, ice-climbing and avalanche-safety training, while via ferrata courses run in Slovakia and at iconic destinations like the Dolomites, Lake Garda and the Julian Alps. The school also leads guided expeditions to alpine summits including Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.
Mountain Climbing School stands out for its certified instructors, structured PZA-aligned syllabus and the breadth of disciplines under one roof — from a first day on the rock to serious high-mountain objectives. Its Zakopane base, year-round programme and willingness to build custom training make it ideal for adventurous travellers looking to learn skills rather than just join a tour.
