Never Monday Charters, also known as Skagway Salmon Fishing, is a small owner-operated fishing charter running out of the Skagway Small Boat Harbor. Captain Ken brings around 45 years of experience on these waters, and the company markets Skagway as one of the only destinations in Southeast Alaska where anglers can reliably target wild king salmon in season.
Trips focus on king salmon fishing from May through September, with the chance to hook pink, keta, and coho salmon as the runs shift through the summer. The charter runs small, personalized groups rather than crowded party boats, and every outing doubles as a scenic wildlife cruise through the fjord, with waterfalls, glaciated peaks, and marine mammals like seals, sea lions, and whales along the way.
Never Monday Charters stands out for its intimate, captain-led experience and hard-won local knowledge of where the fish are holding.
