About Ocean Tribe Alghero
Ocean Tribe is a watersports school and rental centre on the Lido di Alghero beachfront, perfectly placed on a long sandy stretch that works as a natural training ground for wind- and wave-driven sports. The operation has grown over the years from a small set-up into one of Alghero’s go-to spots for windsurfing, surfing, stand-up paddle and kayaking, drawing both holidaymakers and locals to the bay.
The centre offers lessons and courses across windsurfing, surfing and SUP, plus rental of windsurf rigs, surfboards, stand-up paddleboards and kayaks for those who want to head out independently. Guided SUP and kayak excursions explore the bay and the coastline toward Capo Caccia, and instruction is structured for everyone from absolute beginners learning to balance to improvers refining their technique. All boards, sails, paddles and safety gear are provided with rentals and lessons.
Ocean Tribe’s beachfront base is its biggest asset — the shallow, gently shelving water of Alghero Lido is ideal for learning, while the same launch gives quick access to better swell and wind when conditions build. The mix of school and rental under one roof means visitors can take a first lesson and then keep coming back to hire gear for the rest of their stay.
