About Orion Expeditions
Orion Expeditions is one of Washington State's oldest river outfitters, guiding trips on the Wenatchee River near Leavenworth since 1978. Operating from their private riverfront basecamp at 41 Orion Lane, they've spent over four decades introducing families, corporate groups, and adventure seekers to the thrill of Class III whitewater in the heart of the Cascade Mountains.
Their trip menu includes whitewater rafting on the Wenatchee River, scenic float trips suitable for young children, inflatable kayaking for those wanting a more hands-on experience, and lazy river tubing during the warm summer months. All gear is provided, and experienced guides lead every trip with a focus on safety, fun, and local ecology education. Trips range from two to four hours depending on water levels and route.
