About Pacific Watersports
Pacific Watersports is a family-run kayak and watersports operator based at the south end of Palm Cove, directly opposite the cafes on Williams Esplanade. Founded in 2012 by a father-and-son team, the business has built a strong reputation for guided kayak tours that explore the fringing reefs and islands just offshore from one of Cairns' most beautiful beaches.
Their signature experience is the guided Double Island kayak tour, where paddlers glide over coral reefs, encounter sea turtles, and explore the rock pools and beaches of Double Island — a pristine tropical island just 300 metres offshore. Kitesurfing lessons and wing foiling sessions are also available for those looking for a higher-adrenaline experience, taught by qualified instructors in the reliable trade winds off Palm Cove. Kayak and SUP hire is available for independent exploration.
