About Palaka Siargao Dive Center
Palaka Siargao Dive Center is the island's established international scuba diving and freediving school, located a short five-minute drive from General Luna. Purpose-built for training, the center features a dedicated pool for confined-water sessions, comfortable rooms for stay-and-dive guests and a lounge for diving theory, making it a complete base for anyone wanting to learn to dive or extend their certifications in Siargao's warm, clear waters.
The center teaches the full range of PADI scuba courses and AIDA freediving courses in four languages, from first-timer Discover Scuba and beginner freediving through to Rescue Diver, Emergency First Responder and professional levels. Family-friendly Bubblemaker sessions introduce children aged eight and up to breathing underwater, while guided fun dives and freedive sessions take certified guests out to explore the reefs, walls and marine life around the island and nearby dive sites.
