Paradise Sportfishing Adventures is a locally owned fishing charter operating out of Cairns Marlin Marina, specialising in barramundi and tropical estuary fishing throughout Trinity Inlet. The boat is moored near the Shangri-La Hotel at the Pier, just a five-minute walk from the Cairns CBD, making it one of the most accessible fishing experiences in the city for visitors staying in town.
Charters run as half-day and full-day trips aboard a purpose-built 7.5-metre fishing vessel, targeting barramundi, mangrove jack, trevally, fingermark, and other estuary species using live bait and lures. Each trip begins with a cast-netting session to catch live bait along the mangrove-lined tributaries of Trinity Inlet, adding an interactive element before the serious fishing begins. All tackle and bait are supplied, and the experienced skipper provides hands-on instruction for beginners.
What sets Paradise apart is their focus on the Trinity Inlet fishery — one of the most productive urban estuaries in tropical Australia.
