About Punta Campanella Diving
Punta Campanella Diving is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort located in Marina Grande, Sorrento, at the gateway to the Amalfi Coast. Operating within the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area — one of the most biodiverse marine reserves in the Mediterranean — the centre offers divers access to pristine underwater environments with exceptional visibility and thriving marine ecosystems.
Their programme covers the full PADI course ladder from introductory Discover Scuba Diving sessions for first-timers through to Divemaster and professional-level certifications. Guided boat dives depart daily to sites around Capo di Sorrento, the Vervece Rock, and the protected reefs near Punta Campanella lighthouse, where divers encounter grouper, barracuda, sea fans, and ancient Roman-era artefacts on the seabed. They also run snorkelling excursions led by marine biologists and combination boat-and-dive tours.
As one of only a handful of PADI 5 Star IDC centres on the Campanian coast, Punta Campanella Diving attracts both serious divers and curious beginners. The multilingual instructors, well-maintained Scubapro equipment fleet, and purpose-built dive boat set a professional standard that few operators in the region match. Their location in Sorrento's historic fishing harbour adds charm to the experience.
