Reel Surprise Charters operates from its own marina and dock store at SanRoc Cay on Perdido Beach Boulevard, steps from Perdido Pass in Orange Beach. For more than fifteen years the outfit has run one of the area's most flexible charter programs, pairing a multi-boat fleet with a walk-up dock store stocked for anglers.
Trips range from four-hour inshore and trolling runs for speckled trout, redfish, Spanish mackerel, and pompano to six-hour nearshore trips, full-day bottom-fishing charters, and overnight expeditions chasing tuna and swordfish far offshore. Boats and crews are matched to group size, from five-person inshore parties to larger offshore groups, and the dock crew handles fish cleaning when the boats return. The SanRoc Cay location puts restaurants and shopping within walking distance for non-fishing family members.
The differentiator is the marina itself: because Reel Surprise books from its own 54-slip facility rather than a single boat, it can slot groups onto the right vessel and captain for their budget and target species, and the shortest possible run to the Pass means more fishing time per charter hour.
