About Santorini E-bike Adventures
Santorini E-bike Adventures is the island's original electric bike tour operator, founded in 2011 as one of the first e-bike tour companies in Greece. Based at the beachfront in Perivolos, they run guided cycling excursions through the quieter southern half of Santorini using high-end Haibike e-bikes with Bosch drive systems — powerful enough to flatten the island's famously steep hills so riders of any fitness level can enjoy the routes.
Their guided tours take small groups along ancient donkey trails, through non-touristic farming villages like Emporio and Megalochori, past vineyards and churches, and along coastal paths with views of the caldera. The Southside Tour is their most popular route, covering around 25 kilometres with frequent photo stops and a visit to the Akrotiri lighthouse. Sunset tours add golden-hour drama to the ride. They also rent e-bikes by the hour or full day for self-guided exploration, with maps and route suggestions included.
As pioneers of e-bike touring on Santorini, they've refined their routes and equipment over more than a decade of operation. Guides are passionate locals who know every back road and hidden viewpoint on the island. The electric assist means the focus is on scenery and storytelling rather than grinding up hills, which makes their tours accessible to couples, families, and older travellers who might otherwise skip a cycling excursion.
