About Atlantis Oia Dive Center
Atlantis Oia Dive Center is a family-run scuba diving operation based in the village of Oia on Santorini's northern tip. Founded and led by Apostolos, a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and Greece's first certified Cousteau Diver Instructor, the centre has been introducing visitors to Santorini's underwater world for over 25 years.
Dives depart by boat from Ammoudi Bay, accessing sites along the caldera's outer wall that are unreachable from shore. Offerings include beginner Discover Scuba sessions, Open Water and Advanced certifications, and guided fun dives for experienced divers exploring volcanic rock formations, sea caves, and walls teeming with octopus, moray eels, and nudibranchs. Private dives are available for couples or small groups who want a fully tailored underwater experience.
The centre's standout credential is Apostolos's quarter-century of local knowledge — he knows every crevice and current around the caldera. Equipment is modern and regularly serviced, and the intimate scale means no more than a handful of divers per trip. Their location in Oia also means stunning sunset views before or after your dive.
