About Sea Dwellers Dive Center
Sea Dwellers Dive Center has been running scuba and snorkel trips out of Key Largo since 1974, making it one of the longest-operating dive shops in the self-proclaimed Dive Capital of the World. The PADI 5-Star center sits just off the Overseas Highway on Laguna Avenue and runs its own boats into the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary every day, weather permitting.
Daily two-tank charters visit the area's signature sites, including Molasses Reef, the Spiegel Grove wreck, and the Christ of the Abyss statue at Key Largo Dry Rocks. Snorkelers can join dedicated reef trips, while divers of every level find a full certification ladder from Discover Scuba and Open Water through Advanced, Rescue, and specialty courses like nitrox and wreck diving. The retail shop handles rental gear, air and nitrox fills, and equipment from major brands.
As a NOAA Blue Star operator, Sea Dwellers emphasizes reef-safe briefings and conservation-minded diving on every charter. Five decades of local knowledge means the crew knows which mooring balls fish best on any given wind and tide, and small-group boats keep the experience personal rather than cattle-boat crowded — a big reason the shop draws repeat divers back to Key Largo year after year.
