About Sisu Mountain Guides
Sisu Mountain Guides is an IFMGA-certified guiding outfit based in Engelberg, drawing its name from the Finnish word for grit and determination. The guides specialise in the high-alpine and freeride terrain around Titlis, leading guests safely into the off-piste bowls and couloirs the resort is known for.
Services centre on guided freeride and ski touring through winter and spring, with off-piste days, multi-day ski-touring trips and alpine climbing and mountaineering once the snow consolidates. Groups are kept small so the guiding stays personal, and itineraries flex to the day's weather, snowpack and the party's experience, from confident intermediates to seasoned ski mountaineers.
