About Flugschule Engelberg
Flugschule Engelberg is the resort's established paragliding school and tandem operator, offering pilots and passengers the chance to fly over the Engelberg valley with Titlis and the surrounding peaks as a backdrop. Alongside training courses for aspiring solo pilots, it runs accessible tandem flights that require no experience.
Tandem options are tiered by airtime and adventure, from a Basic flight of roughly five to twenty minutes to a longer Experience flight reaching up to thirty minutes, both flown with experienced pilots from launch sites in central Switzerland. Photo and video packages capture the descent, and seasonal conditions determine takeoff points across the valley's sunny flanks.
The differentiator is a dedicated flight-school heritage: passengers fly with instructors who train pilots, not just one-off tandem operators, which underpins a strong safety culture. The mix of taster flights and full pilot courses also means curious first-timers can graduate to learning the sport with the same outfit.
