About Skaha Boat Rentals
Skaha Boat Rentals was founded in 2015 by local water sports enthusiasts and operates from Barefoot Beach Resort at 4145 Skaha Lake Road on the south side of Penticton. Skaha Lake is smaller and warmer than Okanagan Lake, which makes it a popular pick for families and first-time boat renters.
The fleet is built around three boat types. Pontoon boats seat 10 to 14 people and suit relaxed cruising and swimming stops. Wake and surf boats carry 12 to 16 people and are set up for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, and tubing. Bowriders seat 6 to 8 and work well for smaller groups who want a mix of cruising and towing. Rentals start at two hours, with half-day and full-day options, and the season runs from May through September with daily hours from 8am to 8pm.
One detail that sets this company apart is that gas is always included in the rental price, so there is no fuel bill waiting at the dock. Combined with direct marina access on Skaha Lake and a fleet that covers both easygoing and high-energy days, it is a straightforward choice for a lake day south of downtown.
