About Ski and Bow Rack
Ski and Bow Rack has been Pagosa Springs' total outdoor connection since 1985, operating as a genuine one-stop shop for equipment rentals, guided trips and gear across every season. Located on East Pagosa Street, this long-standing local institution outfits visitors for everything from a powder day at Wolf Creek to a summer float on the San Juan River.
In winter, the shop rents downhill ski and snowboard packages, cross-country and skate skis, snowshoes, snow tubes and sleds. Come summer, it shifts to river gear with tube rentals — including a free shuttle — plus paddleboards and kayaks for the San Juan River and nearby lakes. It is also the town's oldest fly fishing guide service, running all-inclusive guided trips on public and private water alongside a stocked fly shop, and it carries camping and hiking gear such as sleeping bags, tents, backpacks and stoves. A dedicated archery department with an indoor range rounds out the offering.
That breadth is the point: rather than visiting several specialty stores, guests can rent skis, book a fly fishing guide, grab a river tube and pick up camping gear all in one place.
