About Skydive Abel Tasman
Skydive Abel Tasman operates from Hangar 1 at Motueka Aerodrome, offering tandem skydives with views that take in both the North and South Islands of New Zealand — the only drop zone in the country where that's possible. Part of the INFLITE Experiences group, they've built a reputation as one of New Zealand's most scenic skydiving operations.
Jump options range from 10,000 feet up to 18,000 feet, with freefall lasting up to 75 seconds at the highest altitude. Every tandem jump is with a highly experienced instructor, and photo/video packages are available to capture the experience. The flight path passes over Abel Tasman National Park's golden beaches, the turquoise waters of Tasman Bay, and on clear days the volcanic peaks of the North Island.
The operation holds Qualmark Gold accreditation from Tourism New Zealand, marking it as one of the country's top-tier activity operators. Their safety record is impeccable, and the professional, relaxed vibe from the team helps even nervous first-timers feel at ease before the jump.
