Founded by experienced equestrians with a passion for connecting riders to the landscape, Zephyr offers intimate, small-group trail rides through the subtropical woodlands and along the pristine beaches of Byron Bay — one of the few places in Australia where you can ride a horse directly on the sand at the water's edge.
The ride menu includes forest trails through lush hinterland bush, beach rides along Belongil Beach at low tide, and combination forest-to-beach experiences that showcase the full diversity of Byron's coastal landscape. All rides are guided and cater to complete beginners through to experienced riders, with well-schooled, calm horses matched to each guest's ability. Group sizes are deliberately kept small — typically six riders maximum — ensuring a personal, unhurried experience rather than a nose-to-tail procession.
