Follow one Saturday at an escape room venue on EquipDash, from the first online booking to the numbers at close.

They book on your own booking page, branded as your venue and sitting on your website.
Dash answers on your booking page and on the phone, from your room details and the articles you wrote, and books the family in.
Dash lists what needs you this morning, with the fix on the same line.
The manifest shows every player, who has signed and the game master running the room. Players check themselves in on their phone, or with one tap at the desk.

Every player gets a waiver. For anyone under the age you set, an adult signs, and the waiver records who signed for them.
Big groups send a request with a date and headcount. Nothing is charged until you say yes.

Tell the till what they want in one sentence, and Dash fills the sale.
Each one pulls the player's details from the booking, so nobody copies and pastes at 11pm.
A group cancels, and everyone on the waitlist for that time gets an email.

Open the reports, or ask Dash and read the answer in plain words.
Describe a job in a sentence and a bot does it every day, asking you first when it should.

Escape room terms, explained.
Escape room booking software takes bookings for each room by the session, prices them per player or per group, collects a waiver from every player and schedules the game masters who run the rooms. EquipDash also runs the desk sales, gift cards, the waitlist, the after-game survey and the reminder texts, with Dash AI answering customer questions.
In a private game the first booking takes the whole room for that session, so a group never plays with strangers. In a public game the room sells seat by seat, and players from different bookings fill it up to its limit. Many venues sell private games only. Some sell both for the same room, and once one kind of booking is made for a time, the other kind closes for that time.
A game master runs a room during a game. They give the briefing, watch the players on camera, send hints and reset the room afterward. Most venues need one game master free for every room that is running, so the number of game masters on shift decides how many rooms can sell at once.
Reset time is the gap between one game ending and the next one starting, used to put every lock, prop and clue back in place. A 60-minute room often runs every 90 minutes, leaving 30 minutes to reset. A bigger room may need 45 minutes or more. In EquipDash you set each room's start times so the gap is built into the schedule.
Each player pays the same price, and every booking needs at least a set number of players, often 2 or 3. A group of four in a $32 room pays $128. The minimum stops one person from taking a private room that needs a team to solve.
Most venues sell parties at one group price that covers a set number of players, then add a price for each extra player up to the room's limit. For example, $299 covers 8 players and each extra player is $25, so a party of 10 pays $349. Pizza and goody bags are usually extras on top.
A parent or guardian signs for any player under 18. In EquipDash you set the age below which an adult must sign, and the signed waiver records who signed and how they are related to the player. Each room's minimum age goes in its description and restrictions, and Dash uses it when it answers customers.
Request to book means the customer asks for a date and nothing is charged until you approve it. Escape rooms often use it for team-building events, where a big group needs several game masters and a date that suits the venue. Once you say yes, a deposit holds the date.
