About AcroFly Parapente
AcroFly Parapente is a Mendoza tandem paragliding operator flying from the slopes of Cerro Arco, the prominent foothill that rises directly above the city and serves as one of Argentina's best-known free-flight sites. The experience begins with a 4x4 excursion up the mountain to a launch ramp at roughly 1,650 metres, followed by a tandem flight with a qualified pilot — no prior experience required.
The company offers a standard tandem flight of around twenty minutes, a high-altitude flight available from September to March that can last from forty minutes to over an hour with sweeping views of the Andean peaks and the Mendoza valley, and a premium drone package that captures edited video of the flight. Pickups are arranged from the city centre near Plaza Independencia for guests without their own transport.
AcroFly's pilots are affiliated with the Argentine Free Flight Federation, and the operation is geared toward visitors who want a safe, professionally run introduction to paragliding with the option to upgrade to longer thermalling flights and full photo-and-video coverage. It is a standout way to see Mendoza and the surrounding cordillera from the air.
