About Adirondack Adventure Center
The Adirondack Adventure Center is a multi-activity outdoor hub located in Lake Luzerne, just five minutes from Lake George Village and twenty-five minutes from Saratoga Springs. It is the only facility in the greater Lake George region that offers whitewater rafting, lazy river tubing, and treetop aerial adventure courses all at one convenient location, making it an ideal choice for families and groups who want to pack multiple outdoor thrills into a single day. The center sits alongside the Hudson River, with direct water access for its rafting and tubing operations and a forested hillside that hosts the adventure courses overhead.
Whitewater rafting trips run on the nearby Sacandaga River, with Class II–III rapids suitable for ages eight and up — exciting enough for adrenaline seekers but manageable for first-time rafters. The lazy river tubing float takes guests on a gentle, scenic drift down the Hudson with tubes, life vests, and shuttle service included. Above the trees, the aerial adventure courses feature zip lines, suspended bridges, cargo nets, and swinging platforms at multiple difficulty levels, from kid-friendly routes to challenging courses that test balance and strength. All activities are guided and include full safety briefings and equipment.
What makes the Adirondack Adventure Center stand out is the sheer convenience of combining land and water adventures without driving between venues. Groups can start the morning with a whitewater run, grab lunch at the on-site snack bar, and spend the afternoon zipping through the treetops. The friendly, safety-focused staff and well-organized booking system keep the day running smoothly, even during the busiest weeks of summer.
