About Anakeesta
Anakeesta is a mountaintop theme park and nature experience in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Accessible only by the Chondola — a combination open-air chairlift and enclosed gondola cabin — the park sits high above the Parkway and delivers panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains from every angle. Since opening in 2017, it has quickly become one of the most popular attractions in East Tennessee.
The park features a dueling zipline system that sends riders over 1,000 feet through the forest canopy at heights up to 150 feet, a treetop skywalk with 14 suspended bridges 60 feet above the forest floor, and the AnaVista observation tower for 360-degree mountain views. Firefly Village offers artisan shops, restaurants, and a kids' treehouse play area, while seasonal events add fresh activities throughout the year.
What sets Anakeesta apart is the blend of adventure activities with a relaxed, walkable village atmosphere — families can combine ziplines and skywalks with dining, shopping, and simply soaking in mountain scenery. It is one of few attractions in the Smokies where the journey up is part of the experience itself.
