About Barracuda Diving Italy
Barracuda Diving Italy is a professional dive centre nestled in the picturesque bay of Nerano, at Marina del Cantone, right where the Sorrento Peninsula meets the Amalfi Coast. Situated inside Nettuno Camping with direct beach access, the centre offers an ideal base for exploring the rich underwater world of the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area and the surrounding coastline.
The centre runs PADI-certified courses from beginner Discover Scuba Diving experiences through to Open Water and Advanced certifications. Guided dives take certified divers to sites along the Amalfi Coast featuring underwater rock formations, sea caves, and Mediterranean marine life including octopus, moray eels, and colourful nudibranchs. They also offer family-friendly snorkelling excursions and sunset snorkel cruises that depart from Marina del Cantone aboard their boat.
What makes Barracuda stand out is the combination of a relaxed, personal atmosphere with serious diving expertise. The instructors are multilingual and keep group sizes small so every diver gets individual attention. The Nerano location is quieter and less touristy than Amalfi or Positano, giving divers access to cleaner, less-crowded dive sites while still being within easy reach of the main coast.
