About Broken River Ski Area

Broken River Ski Area is a club field in the Craigieburn Range, signposted 7.5 km beyond Castle Hill Village on State Highway 73. A 6 km unsealed road climbs to the Hanomag car park, where the Tyndall Tramway starts.

It runs three high-speed rope tows and two learner tows, night skiing and three on-mountain lodges, catered and self-catered, plus off-piste, avalanche and telemark courses. There is no ski rental, only tow belt and ski harness hire.

Lodge stays book online, and under 11s and over 70s ski free.
