About Mt Cheeseman

Mt Cheeseman is a club ski area open to the public. Its access road leaves State Highway 73 about 1.5 km past Castle Hill Village, and 12 km of unsealed road lead to the base at 1,540 m.

Two T-bars and a learners' rope tow need no nutcrackers, and Snowline Lodge offers catered ski-in ski-out stays and ski weeks. There was no ski hire or ski school in winter 2026.

Outside the ski season it hires out the lodge for events, weddings and school camps, and walking tracks start nearby. Bookings are online.
