About Buggy Dubrovnik
Buggy Dubrovnik runs off-road buggy safari tours from the top of Mount Srd, the hill that rises directly behind Dubrovnik's Old Town. Guests reach the starting point via the Dubrovnik Cable Car — a three-minute ride from the city centre — and from there set off on guided buggy routes through rugged terrain with 360-degree views of the Adriatic, the Elaphiti Islands, and the Croatian countryside.
Tours range from 35-minute introductory loops to two-hour private expeditions that venture deeper into the backcountry. Routes pass through pine forests, along ridgelines with war-history stops, and past old fortifications, with plenty of photo ops along the way. Each buggy seats two adults, and children can ride as passengers. No driving licence is required, and the buggies are automatic with roll cages and seatbelts. Departures run hourly from 9 AM to 7 PM daily throughout the season.
Buggy Dubrovnik fills the off-road niche in a city where most activities revolve around water. The combination of cable car access and mountaintop driving means guests get both the thrill of an off-road vehicle and some of the best aerial views of Dubrovnik available anywhere. It is a popular pick for stag parties, families with older kids, and anyone who wants to explore the landscape beyond the city walls without committing to a full-day hike.
