About Coastline Algarve
Coastline Algarve is a family-owned adventure company based in Raposeira, a small village between Lagos and Sagres on the southwestern tip of Portugal. They specialise in coasteering — a mix of cliff jumping, rock scrambling, wild swimming, and cave exploration — along the spectacular cliffs of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park.
Their core offering is guided coasteering sessions that take small groups along the rocky shoreline near Praia da Ingrina, with cliff jumps ranging from beginner-friendly one-metre ledges to adrenaline-pumping ten-metre drops. They also run family-friendly coasteering for children aged six and up, stand-up paddleboard tours, and combination packages. All safety equipment including helmets, wetsuits, and buoyancy aids is provided. Sessions typically last two to three hours and run year-round, weather permitting.
What makes Coastline Algarve special is the setting — the Costa Vicentina is one of the last truly wild stretches of European coastline, a protected natural park with dramatic cliffs, clear water, and minimal development. The family team knows every ledge, cave, and swimming hole along this coast, and their focus on safety without sacrificing fun has earned them a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor and consistently five-star reviews. Pick-up from Lagos bus station is available for guests without a car.
