About Coconuts Kite School
Coconuts Kite School is a dedicated kitesurfing and wingfoil centre based on the uncrowded beaches of Jambiani, on Zanzibar's southeast coast. While most kite schools cluster around busy Paje, Coconuts chose Jambiani for its quieter waters, fewer riders on the water, and equally reliable wind conditions — giving students more space to learn without dodging traffic.
They offer IKO PRO-certified kitesurfing courses from beginner through advanced, wingfoil lessons for the growing foiling crowd, stand-up paddleboard hire, and even landboarding sessions for windless days. Their lesson packages include all equipment, safety gear, and radio helmet communication between instructor and student. Multi-day kite-and-stay packages bundle lessons with beachfront accommodation right at the centre.
Coconuts has carved out a niche as the boutique alternative to the bigger Paje schools. Class sizes are deliberately kept small, instructors give undivided attention, and the relaxed Jambiani village atmosphere means less tourist hustle.
