About Crazy Sister Marina
Crazy Sister Marina is the watersports and fishing hub of Murrells Inlet, located on the famous Marshwalk boardwalk alongside waterfront restaurants and live-music venues. The marina has operated for decades as the central launch point for charter fishing, headboat excursions, dolphin cruises, and equipment rentals in this tightly-knit fishing village just south of Myrtle Beach.
Their activity roster covers deep-sea fishing on headboats that accommodate large groups, private charter fishing for inshore and offshore species, guided dolphin-watching cruises, jet ski rentals on the Inlet, kayak and Carolina skiff rentals for self-guided marsh exploration, and pontoon boat hire for leisurely creek cruises. Headboat trips run multiple times daily in four-hour, full-day, and overnight formats, with all tackle and bait supplied. The dolphin cruises are a family favourite, running at sunset through the creek system where bottlenose dolphins feed in the shallows.
The Marshwalk setting gives Crazy Sister something no standalone marina can match — guests walk off the boat and straight into a strip of seafood restaurants, ice cream shops, and open-air bars without moving their car. That combination of fishing, watersports, and post-adventure dining in one walkable waterfront district has made Crazy Sister a fixture of the Murrells Inlet experience for locals and visitors alike. The marina opens at 6 a.m. for early charters and stays active through sunset cruise departures.
