About Little River Fishing Fleet
Little River Fishing Fleet has operated from the Little River waterfront since 1985, making it one of the longest-running fishing charter operations on the northern end of the Grand Strand. Their fleet departs from the docks on Watson Avenue in the fishing village of Little River, just minutes from the North Carolina border and within easy reach of both nearshore reefs and deep Gulf Stream waters.
They run a full range of trip formats: half-day and full-day open-boat (headboat) fishing for groups of all sizes, private charter boats for parties of up to six, specialty Gulf Stream trips targeting mahi-mahi, wahoo, and tuna, and nearshore reef fishing for sea bass, grouper, and snapper. All tackle and bait are provided, and the crew handles rigging and fish cleaning. They also offer evening shrimping excursions and sightseeing cruises during the warmer months.
Four decades on the same waterfront means the Little River captains know every reef, ledge, and wreck within range of their boats. The open-boat format keeps prices accessible for families and solo anglers who do not want to charter an entire vessel, while the private charters cater to serious fishermen targeting specific species offshore. The fleet consistently fills boats through the summer season, so advance booking is strongly recommended for weekend and holiday trips.
