Cycle BC Rentals & Tours operates from 685 Humboldt Street in downtown Victoria, beside the Fairmont Empress and a block from the Inner Harbor. Renting bikes in Victoria since the mid-1990s, it has grown into one of the city's largest rental fleets and a go-to starting point for exploring Vancouver Island's celebrated rail-trail network.
The fleet spans comfort hybrids, road bikes, e-bikes, kids' bikes, tandems and trailers, alongside scooter rentals for licensed riders. Rentals run from an hour to multiple days, and every bike comes with a helmet, lock and route maps. Staff point riders toward the Galloping Goose and Lochside regional trails — flat, car-free routes that connect downtown to Sooke and Sidney — as well as the Dallas Road waterfront and Beacon Hill Park loops. The shop operates year-round thanks to Victoria's mild climate.
