About Dempsey Buses
Dempsey Buses is a Ruapehu bus and shuttle company based at 24 Seddon Street, Raetihi, 11 km west of Ohakune, running since 1988. Pure Tūroa names it as the recommended shuttle to the ski area.
In winter it runs a bookings-only ski shuttle from Ohakune up to Turoa. It also runs Tongariro Alpine Crossing shuttles from Ohakune, Raetihi and National Park, and bike transport for the Old Coach Road, Fishers Track, Mountains to Sea and Bridge to Nowhere rides.
