About SLR Ski & Board Rentals

SLR Ski & Board Rentals is a ski and snowboard hire shop at 27 Ayr Street, Ohakune, on the main roundabout at the bottom of the road up to Turoa. Pure Tūroa's Ohakune office, shop and ticket office are in the same building.

It hires starter, recreational, performance, kids and mini-kids packages and runs a tuning workshop. Its full weather warranty means no rent is charged on days you cannot ski or ride.

SLR finished its 30th winter of rentals in 2026 and is closed in summer.
