About Tūroa Ski Area

Tūroa Ski Area is on Mt Ruapehu at the top of the 17 km Ohakune Mountain Road. It is run by Pure Tūroa Limited, whose office, shop and ticket office are at 27 Ayr Street, Ohakune, on the corner of Goldfinch Street.

It sells lift passes and runs on-mountain equipment and clothing rental, a Snow School, youth programs, sledding and a sightseeing chair, with four cafes on the hill.

The 2026 season has closed and 2027 season passes are on sale.
