About Dixie Trail Rides
Dixie Trail Rides is a family-owned horseback outfitter based in St. George, drawing on more than twenty years of experience guiding riders through the red rock country on the outskirts of Snow Canyon State Park. Serving St. George, Ivins and Washington, the operation pairs well-trained horses with small, personal group sizes on every outing.
The signature Original Dixie Trail Ride welcomes all skill levels, while 75-minute sunset rides catch the evening light on the sandstone. Experienced riders can book the premium Diamond Valley Overlook and Vista Voyage routes for longer, more remote terrain. Off the trail, the company teaches English and Western riding lessons, hosts birthday parties with pony rides, and offers The Experience — a full-day immersion covering grooming, tacking and a two-hour scenic ride. All rides run by appointment, keeping groups small and the pace unhurried.
