About Dubrovnik Sea Kayaking
Dubrovnik Sea Kayaking — known locally as DSK — is one of only a handful of officially permitted kayak tour operators on the Dubrovnik coastline. Established in 2015, the company runs daily guided paddles that depart from the Brsalje meeting point near the western walls of the Old Town. Every guide holds Croatian maritime certification, and the operation carries full liability insurance for every participant.
DSK offers daytime tours of roughly two hours covering four kilometres of coastline, plus extended sunset paddles of up to three hours that include a glass of local wine at a scenic cove. Private tours can be arranged for couples, families, or corporate groups. All tours include double kayaks, paddles, life jackets, dry barrels, snorkel masks, and bottled water — no extras to pay for on the water.
The company's emphasis on legitimacy and safety is a key differentiator in a market crowded with unlicensed operators. DSK keeps group sizes small, typically six to eight kayaks, and schedules departures outside peak foot-traffic hours so paddlers enjoy a quieter experience along the walls. Their sunset tour, which finishes as the city lights come on, is regularly cited by guests as the highlight of their Dubrovnik visit.
