During winter, the shop offers hand-tuned ski and snowboard rental packages with an emphasis on personalised attention that bigger chains can't always match. Every pair of skis and every board is waxed and edged in-house by experienced technicians, and the small-shop atmosphere means fittings are unhurried and tailored to your ability and the day's conditions. Ice skate rentals are also available for the nearby Town Park ice rink, and Shaka Hockey supplies sticks, pads, and helmets for pickup games.
