About Giant Mont-Tremblant
Giant Mont-Tremblant — formerly Vélo-Gare Tremblant — is a signature Giant, Liv, and Momentum bike boutique located at the historic P'tit Train du Nord train station in downtown Mont-Tremblant. Founded in 2020 by Claudie Maltais and Patrick Bohemier as a small rental and repair shop, the business rebranded in early 2024 after earning designation as an official Giant signature store, giving them access to the full Giant, Liv, Momentum, and Cadex product lines. With over one hundred bikes spanning more than fifteen categories, they match every rider to the perfect rental — from leisurely hybrid cruisers to high-performance carbon road machines and full-suspension e-mountain bikes.
The shop's location directly on the P'tit Train du Nord — the famous 234-kilometre linear cycling trail built on a former railway corridor — makes it one of the most convenient departure points in the region. Riders can literally roll out of the shop door and onto the trail without touching a road. The rental fleet covers road, mountain (hardtail and full-suspension), gravel, city, electric, and children's categories, and a "try before you buy" programme lets customers test any bike on a rental before committing to a purchase. A Second Cycle programme also offers quality refurbished bikes at reduced prices for budget-conscious riders.
Professional repair and maintenance services are handled on site, and the team includes certified mechanics who service everything from basic tune-ups to complex drivetrain overhauls. For visitors who want a guided experience, Giant Mont-Tremblant runs electric cycling tours through the surrounding Laurentian countryside. Whether you are planning a casual family outing on the P'tit Train du Nord or a serious backcountry ride through the mountains, this boutique combines the depth of a Giant flagship store with the local knowledge and personal service of an independently owned shop.
