About Hidden Depths Diving
Hidden Depths Diving is a PADI Five Star dive center on the main street of Ban Saladan, one or two minutes' walk from the Saladan pier where boats arrive from Phi Phi, Phuket, and Krabi. The shop runs speedboat trips for diving, snorkeling, and freediving, with a team that puts extra weight on safety and reef-friendly habits.
Dive days reach Koh Haa's caverns and lagoon, the far pinnacles of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, and the Bida islands off Phi Phi, where leopard sharks rest on the sand and trevallies school in the blue. Advanced divers can add the 50-meter Kled Kaeo wreck. Courses run from Discover Scuba Diving through Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster, and the instructor-level IDC.
The speedboat format is the differentiator: shorter rides mean more time underwater and an earlier return to the beach, and groups stay small enough that guides can match pairs by experience. Snorkelers and freedivers share the same boats, so mixed groups travel together.
