About Howl Adventure Center
Howl Adventure Center is Bayfield's year-round outdoor hub on South County Highway J, pairing a full-service bike shop and rental fleet with a café and taproom under one roof. Perched near the Mt. Ashwabay trail network on the Bayfield peninsula, it has become the natural basecamp for riders and skiers exploring the hills above Lake Superior.
The rental fleet runs deep: full-suspension and hardtail mountain bikes, carbon demo models, fat bikes, e-bikes, hybrids, and road bikes, offered by the half day, full day, or week. An on-site demo track lets riders test full-suspension rigs before committing, while e-bike and road customers can shake down their rental on the quiet county road out front. When the snow flies, the shop pivots to cross-country ski, snowshoe, and fat bike rentals for the surrounding trail systems, and the repair bench keeps local bikes running all season.
