About Live Wire Park
Live Wire Park is an elevated adventure park set in the forest on Erskine Falls Road, just a couple of minutes from the centre of Lorne. Billed as Australia's first completely off-grid adventure park, it combines high-ropes treetop courses, a canopy walk and an extreme zip line into a single day of forest-based thrills on the Great Ocean Road.
The headline attraction is the Shockwave Zip Coaster, where riders are suspended in a hang-gliding harness for a 525-metre run through the canopy — described as the most extreme zip line in Australia. The park also offers the challenging Super Circuit treetop trail with rope climbs, swinging bridges and balance beams, a Short Circuit designed for younger adventurers, spring trampolines and a wheelchair-accessible 120-metre canopy walk.
With activities graded by height and difficulty, Live Wire Park caters to everyone from young families to thrill-seekers, and runs corporate team-building and birthday packages alongside general admission. Its off-grid, forest-immersed setting and genuinely adrenaline-charged zip line have made it one of the most distinctive attractions in the Lorne hinterland.
