About Lynn A Fishing Charters
Lynn A Fishing Charters is Door County's longest-running charter fishing operation, founded in 1971 by Captain Jerry and now run by his son Captain Mike out of Sturgeon Bay. For over 50 years, the family has been taking anglers out on Lake Michigan aboard their 35-foot Bertram sportfishing boat, targeting king salmon, coho, steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout.
Charters depart from the Quarterdeck Marina at 705 Quarterdeck Lane in Sturgeon Bay, with 4-, 6-, and 8-hour trip options available. All tackle, rods, reels, and bait are provided, and the crew handles fish cleaning at the dock. The boat is equipped with top-end electronics, downriggers, and planer boards for trolling the open waters of Lake Michigan.
Lynn A's reputation is built on consistency and a no-fish, no-pay guarantee on their 6- and 8-hour trips — if you don't catch fish, you don't pay. That kind of confidence comes from five decades of fishing the same waters and knowing exactly where the fish stage in every season. It's the kind of multigenerational local knowledge that's hard to find anywhere else on the Great Lakes.
